Philip Neri (July 21, 1515, Florence, Italy – May 26, 1595 (age 79 years), Rome, Italy).
Italian Catholic priest who founded the Congregation of the Oratory, a society of secular clergy dedicated to pastoral care and charitable work.
Patron Saint of Joy.
Established the Pilgrimage of the Seven Churches which is a 15.6-mile (25 km) and has become a Roman tradition.
